abstract = {Uncontrolled hemorrhage is the leading cause of potentially survivable combat casualty death, dominated by non-compressible hemorrhage in the torso and junctional areas. Rapid hemostasis using war trauma dressings is the mainstay of treatment for such casualties. The article reviews the research progress of novel hemostatic dressings for war trauma, including novel improved dressings, multifunctional dressings, electrospinning wound dressings, and smart dressings in order to provide references for the research on war trauma dressings.}
