abstract = {In order to improve the driving safety and comfort of long-distance continuous tunnel groups, an analysis method for the operational safety and comfort of long-distance continuous tunnel groups is established based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process Entropy Weight Method and Cloud-Matter Element Theory. Influencing factors of the operational safety and comfort of long-distance continuous tunnel groups were obtained through statistical research on traffic accidents in these tunnels. A judgment matrix was constructed based on expert scoring, and weight indicators were calculated using the Entropy Weight Method. Using the Cloud-Matter Element Theory, the state level of different influencing factors and the correlation degree of the discrimination level were determined. According to the principle of maximum correlation, the safety and comfort level of the long-distance continuous tunnel group were determined. Finally, based on the analysis of the Miaoziwan-Tangjiawan tunnel group on the Yipan Expressway, it was determined that the safety level of this long-distance continuous tunnel group is Level Ⅳ, and the comfort level is also Level Ⅳ, thus corresponding measures should be taken. The research results can provide reference for the design of long-distance continuous tunnel groups.}
