abstract = {The urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is China's new economic growth pole, the leading area of new urbanization in the central and western regions, the demonstration area of inland opening up and cooperation, the leading area of"two-oriented"social construction, and an important tourist source and destination in China, which has an important impact on China's tourism development. The opening of the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway in 2010 have had an important impact on the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Therefore, this paper collects data from 31 urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and uses granger causality testsocial, network analysis method, gravity model and ArcGIS spatial analysis to reveal the evolution characteristics of spatial correlation network of domestic tourism economy in the urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of Yangtze River under the background of high-speed railway opening. The results show that: (1)the overall network density of cities has gradually increased, and the network structure has become more stable. (2)The core to periphery structure has changed significantly, With the gradual construction and operation of different high-speed railway sections from east to west, the correlation network gradually developed from sparse in the south and sparse in the north with single core into a center-peripheral layer structure with dense in the south and dense in the north with multiple cores.(3)The tourism economic ties between cities are getting closer and closer, tourism development is more and more balanced.(4)Spillovers, total benefits of tourism economic links and the total volume in the vast majority of cities are increasing, mainly in the station cities with superior location conditions, rich tourism resources, high level of economic development and large population.}
