abstract = {Psychological issues among college students have become an increasingly severe and urgent problem in higher education. Can physics education help address these psychological challenges? Taking the typical psychological issues of science students as an example, this paper employs the ETA Scientific Cognitive Model to analyze the underlying causes of students' psychological problems and proposes targeted interventions. Practical evidence demonstrates that students' psychological issues can be significantly alleviated through the enhancement of scientific cognitive abilities (scientific cognition, scientific spirit, and scientific methodology). The causal analysis and intervention strategies outlined here are also applicable, in principle, to students in other disciplines and even to primary and secondary school students.}
