abstract = {Ceramic materials are widely used in various fields due to their high thermal, mechanical, and chemical stability. The traditional sintering process of ceramics usually requires high temperature and long time insulation to ensure the densification of ceramics, resulting in long preparation time, high cost, and poor component control. In recent years, the rapid sintering technology of ceramics has developed rapidly. From the perspectives of direct sintering and auxiliary sintering, this article summarizes the research progress of direct sintering and auxiliary sintering technology in recent years, expounds the sintering mechanism of each technology and its impact on sintering time and material properties, and analyzes and summarizes the actual effects of each technology on production applications. Finally, the urgent problems in rapid sintering of ceramics are summarized, indicating that the future focus of ceramic rapid sintering technology is to improve the density and solve ceramic defects during rapid sintering.}
