abstract = {ETA physical cognition model is a summary of research on the laws of physical cognition. According to the ETA physical cognition model, a complete physical cognition process is composed of experimental physics cognition, theoretical physics cognition, and applying physics cognition. Teaching according to the cognitive laws of the ETA model is the ETA physics teaching method. Taking the “string vibration and standing wave experiment” as an example, this paper constructs the teaching content and process based on the ETA physics teaching method, deepens the understanding of the relationship between theory, experiment, application, and their relationship, enhances the depth and breadth of college physics experiment teaching, cultivates students' scientific cognitive ability, and develops the spirits of physicists.}
