abstract = {In this paper, the effects of air buoyancy, air resistance and Magnus force on the basketball in the shooting movement are considered, the dynamics model of basketball motion is established, and the trajectory equation of the basketball movement under various circumstances such as forward spin and back spin are calculated. The trajectory of the basketball is solved and drawn by Matlab software and the influence of air resistance, Magnus force, angular velocity and projection angle on the shooting height, range and trajectory of basketball are discussed. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the software Tracker is used to conduct experiments to obtain the trajectory of basketball movement and related parameters in the real shooting process, which indicates that the theoretical analysis is in good agreement with the experimental data.}
