abstract = {According to the war-oriented requirement of college physics course in military academics,this paper updates the database of physics military application cases and adopts relevant demo experiments so as to contribute to teaching under combat situation. Improving teaching via competition,the course integrates the concept and mode of discipline competition into actual teaching, and forms the teaching model of military application case in college physics, i.e military application case-experimental exploration-theoretical analysis-problem solving-expansion and improvement,with the purpose of improving the ability to analyze and solve issues under combat situation by applying physical knowledge and theories. A SPSS analysis of the survey of learning self-efficacy suggests that this teaching reform practices which is guided by war and promoted by competition plays a significant role in improving cadets' learning self-efficacy,especially in self-efficacy concerning the ability to learn.}
